1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using our financial audit services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Service Description

Audit Team provides professional financial audit services including:

  • Financial statement audits and reviews
  • Internal control assessments
  • Compliance audits and regulatory reviews
  • Risk assessments and fraud detection services
  • Consultation and advisory services related to financial auditing

3. Professional Standards

All audit services are performed in accordance with Canadian auditing standards and professional ethics guidelines. Our certified public accountants maintain the highest levels of professional competence and integrity.

4. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and complete financial records and documentation
  • Cooperating fully with the audit process and providing timely responses
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of audit findings until formally released
  • Implementing recommended improvements in a timely manner
  • Payment of fees according to the agreed schedule

5. Fees and Payment

Service fees are established based on the scope and complexity of the audit engagement. Payment terms include:

  • Fees are due within 30 days of invoice date
  • Late payments may incur additional charges
  • Services may be suspended for non-payment
  • Additional work beyond the original scope may result in additional fees

6. Confidentiality

We maintain strict confidentiality regarding all client information and audit findings. Client data is protected and will not be disclosed to third parties without explicit consent, except where required by law or professional standards.

7. Limitation of Liability

Our liability for any claims arising from our services is limited to the fees paid for the specific engagement. We shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.

8. Independence

We maintain independence from our clients in accordance with professional auditing standards. This includes avoiding conflicts of interest that could compromise our objectivity and professional judgment.

9. Intellectual Property

All audit methodologies, templates, and proprietary tools remain the intellectual property of Audit Team. Clients receive rights to use audit reports and findings for their intended business purposes.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate the engagement with written notice. Upon termination, clients remain responsible for fees incurred for work completed, and we will return client documents as requested.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes will be resolved through arbitration or the courts of British Columbia.

12. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Clients will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
